Grizzly Hills: Introduction
Monday, 15 September 2008 07:42

Introduction:

Nothing Says Fun Like a Bear Enjoying a Wood Themed Water Park

Grizzly Hills is located to the west of Northred - directly connected to howling Fjord, Dragonblight, and Zul'Drak. The follow-up zone to Dragonblight - Grizzly Hill's quests are split into 2 sections - PVP daily quests and storyline quests. A major plot point for Grizzly Hills for both the Alliance and the Horde are controlling different areas that produce resources (think Arathi Basin 2.0) - on PVE servers picking up any of the PVP quests will automatically flag you for PVP until the quest is completed.

General Information:

The zone has 80+ storyline quests with a large amount of PVP daily quests that aren't counted in the final tally (for Achievement purposes), with a 5-man instance (Drak'tharon Keep) that shares the entrance with Zul'Drak. The major cities for the Horde are Conquest Hold to the southwest and Camp One'Qwah to the east.

There is one starting point for this zone, Conquest Hold - which can be reached either by running from Venomspite or from Winterhoof. However Venture Bay to the southwest has a set of PVP daily quests so for those who want to try out everything in the zone this guide will start there.

For those that want to you can skip all PVP daily quests as they do not contribute to the final count for the Grizzly Hills Quest Completion Achievement - most of them are pretty simple to do UNLESS there are people on the other faction doing the same quest - which could then turn killing 10 alliance NPCs into hours of ganking.
