Abilities:
King Ymiron:
Bane: Surrounds the caster with an aura of Bane, which deals Shadow damage to nearby enemies whenever the caster is dealt direct damage - lasts 5 seconds
Dark Slash: Slashes the target with darkness, dealing damage equal to half the target's current health
Fetid Rot: Afflicts the target with Fetid Rot, dealing Nature damage every 3 secconds and decreasing healing received by 25% - lasts 9 seconds
Screams of the Dead: Lets out a bone chilling scream, stunning all enemies for 8 seconds
Spirit Burst: Deals Shadow damage to all surrounding enemies
Spirit Strike: Deals damage and increases Physical damage taken by 250 - stacks up to 100 times and lasts 10 seconds
Strategy:
King Ymiron is a tough encounter with a ton of abilities to watch out for. Tank him where he is and have all the dps constantly watch out for when he casts Bane - at which point all dps should stop attacking for 5 seconds. He will do constantly damage to the party as well has high potential of burst damage with Dark Slash (1/2 the targets health in damage) so healing has to constantly keep the group topped off. He will also stun periodically the party for 8 second and head towards one of the 4 boats in the room to gain a new abilities - based on the dialog he will gain the following abilities:
"Tor of the Brutal Siege, bestow your might upon me!" - summons 4 ghost adds
"Haldor of the Rocky Cliffs! Grant me your strength!" - inceases King Ymiron's damage
"Ranulf of the screaming beast, snuff these maggots with darkest night!" - ???
"Bjorn of the Black Storm! Honor me now with your presence!" - ???
