Varos Cloudstrider:

Energize Cores - Hurls a bolt of magic at an enemy, inflicting Arcane damage

Strategy:

Varos Cloudstrider is a typical tank and spank encounter - he will constantly cast Energize Cores which can be interrupted - if he gets the cast off it deals arcane damage to the party. Periodically he will call on an Azure Ring Captain to assist him - this will cause a dragon to appear to target one of the party members with a beam of damage - this beam moves at 50% speed so whoever is targeted will need to run away from the beam. Also note that any blue dragons in the air can be aggroed during this boss fight - so be sure to clear the dragons that are close to the boss before engaging.

Innor  - How to interrupt?   |2009-02-16 15:40:05 I have done this fight a couple of times now, but I am yet to see a succesfull interupt. I have seen for shure that when the DK mind freeze and the rogue kick is used the result is an "immune" responce. I think the mage counterspell gives the same result but I'm not 100% on this one. What abilities are you using to interrupt the "Energize Cores" spell that he casts? (Just for the record, the abilities where used while he was casting the spell and a casting bar was visible.)
