Abilities:

Elder Nakox:

Brood Plague: Causes Nature damage over 30 seconds
Nerubian Shield: Physical and magical damage taken is reduced by 50%

Strategy:

Elder Nadox has almost no abilities so the tank just has to grab agro and hold it - however the hard part is the constant wave of bugs he summons. Throughout the fight a constant wave of small non-elite bugs will spawn which can be AoE down with easy, however periodically an elite Ahn'kahar Guardian will spawn and make all the non-elite bugs immune to damage. At this point all dps will need to shift to burning down the Ahn'kahar Guardian as soon as possible and then go back to killing the small bugs and the boss.

Lovemyself  - Another strategy   |2009-01-25 21:42:15 There's also another way of killing this boss and it's much easier, besides u gain an achievement. :) So...somebody in your party who has increased run speed (hunt of rogue) should aggro the boss, then boss follows him to the space near the entrance portal. Tank grabs the agro and then boss can be easily killed without any summoned (i mean elite) adds :) However, u need to have nice dps, cuz there won't be much time until elite adds come from the place where Nakox standed before...all in all u have about 2 mins to kill the boss.
