Diablo 3 – Season 1 Conquest – Level 70

Today I want to make a video showing you guys our 4 man ‘race to the top’ level 70 conquest. We ended up roughly in the top 3rd of the leaderboard rankings due to a slow start and some afk during the process (I also missed a few games), but we did it!

In this video I talk about the Miner’s Gold bounty, ways to optimally split farm it, certain caveats and strategies of the bounty itself, rough amount of time to level 1-70, and more. I hope in the next season adventure mode is removed until you hit 60 to avoid ‘cheese’ like this, but it was still a very fun process and took roughly 3 hours. Enjoy!

Patch: 2.1.0

Thanks for watching and Thumbs Up if you like the video! Let me know if you have any questions or suggestions in the comments below and be sure to check out:

  1. This indicates a few of the changes I wanted bliz to introduce into the soft core game. Because death carries no risk for SC players these tactics become extremely powerful. I personally find it abusive exploitation of the mechanics. Do I think that players who used it should be penalized? No. I also feel though that if death carried more risk these tactics would have been much less viable. I think the diablo 2 style of Spawn in town naked Go get your corpse would have been an easy method to prevent a lot of these Torment 6 zero kill quest abuse tactics. While im sure this was done by the hard core community we didnt hit max nearly as quickly as the SC players did, and it would have carried a ton of risk to try to be as fast.

I do however disagree that its not an exploit it is very clearly an exploit, exploits are tactics which are employed to circumnavigate game balance mechanics through use of unintended other mechanics. You even said so your self that you fully expect it to get nerfed or hotfixed, to me it shows that you know its abusive. I dont fault players for abusing mechanics to min max, we all do it to some degree just to greater and lesser extent. In the game Combat arms you could glitch your self through the floor and shoot at people from below the ground, they however could not shoot back as the floor collision was 1 directional. It was known for a while and went unpatched for quite some time. I do fault the developers for not fixing that issue, and ultimately they are responsible for people abusing it, having said that I also blame the players for abusing it. To me this is no different.

As for some of your comments over people only "hating" for being jelly that you made top 400. I dont think its "jelly" as you imply. Personally I dont care too much about the title of first to hit max, but at least in some games the title of world first took careful planning or skill. I think why people call this lame and exploitative, is because it takes no skill to execute and zero planning. I have no issue with abuse of this kind, I do dislike it when people who abuse these mechanics take a victim attitude when they are called out on it. It is abusive. It is an exploit. But anyone that got 70 faster than you was doing this or an even more efficient exploit, it was the nature of the beast.

  2. Sure are a lot of people crying bout you doing this. You should be ashamed of yourself for ruining the game for everyone by not playing the exact same way they are. How are they going to…. wait, nvrmnd. What you do with your playtime is up to you and has no effect on on what other people are doing. So they just need to stfu, god damn the internet is full of people who remind me of kids I knew growing up who cry when they don't get their way. Great vids man, keep up the good work. Gratz btw

  3. I'm just a casual viewer who checks out your channel for nice builds from time to time, my knowledge is limited because I play D3 on the Xbox so I can't experience all of this, but I still don't see what all the hate is for, after all its just a video game, people in these comments are so sensitive

  4. I guess I don't get what the point of this is… do you get something other than the achievement?  If not, doing this quest over and over again doesn't seem like a lot of fun.  But to each his/her own.

  5. oh man why are u all hating, theyre surely not the only ones doing these stuff, saw not only a bunch of other on streams. and what do you gain of it? achievements? …
let people play effectively or how they have fun.

  6. yea, nice. Blizzard should do more testing, really. Since Seasons is competitive there should not be such ways of risign to the top. This one was well known, they fixed it, but not entirely. Anyway, I dont see the point into competing without everyone being under the same sun or shadow. Played a bit of 2.1, but nothing new, drop rates still sux, seasons not worth it and greater rift keys never drops, so maybe when diablo 4 comes out?

Anyway, gl for you all guys and gratz on the achievement

  7. Boooooooooooooorrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrriiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnnnnnnnnngggggggggggggg.
I'm at lvl 70 with my Crusader in season, kinda "normally", by doing "Clear the…" bounties and doing few rifts…
