Plague Quarter: General Information

Quick Navigation:

The Plague Wing contains 3 bosses and consists of undead mosters. The first 2 bosses are on the easier side so this is a good wing to start with for those new to the instance.
The first pull in this wing is a Stoneskin Gargolye - this mob will cast Stone Form whenever it is about to die - if the raid can not burst down the gargoyle before the cast is complete the gargoyle will regen a large portion of its health back and will repeat this process over and over - so be sure to save all cooldowns till it starts casting the spell. Further in are packs of Ghouls and Slimes - neither do anything special but the slimes move very slow so can be kited by and ranged class if perfered. The slimes also constantly change to become immune to a certain school of magic - so if your current spells aren't working try switching to a different school of magic. You will also have to face 2 gargoyles at once after the slim/ghoul packs, which makes burning down one more urgent since they do a stacking poison on the raid. Head down the stairs and you will see Noth standing by himself. See the Noth the Plaguebringer strategy here.
Nothing much to worry about here - a lot of large packs of bats and grubs that can be AOE'd down along with a few single pull elites - just hug the right wall the entire time to avoid some of the packs. You'll take 2 right turns before reaching Heigan the Unclean. See the Heigan the Unclean strategy here.
The room leading to Loatheb has a quick respawn timer so everyone needs to move quickly though it. There are large amounts of grubs that will overwhelm the raid if you move too fast and tentacles that casts mind flay to slow down the raid spread around the room. Hug the right wall and move quickly killing one tentacle to another. If the raid is getting overwhelmed near the end and there is wipe protection (soulstone, ahnk) just have everyone run to the end of the gauntlet and you're safe to rez on the bridge. DO NOT jump off the bridge leading to Loatheb - there is no way back up. See the Loatheb strategy here.
